
The
caratteristic room was built during the early 1900's by the Clarkes
sisters, on the foundations of an old drying-room, which was completely
restructured in 1984 by the Bologna University characterised by
the large openings shaded, by the unique "mandolate"
with chestnut wood roof, trusses and the big fireplace.
The
farm also introduces special menus based on the products of the
farm. We make typical regional dishes with their genuine, old
flavour, that you can eat inside the restaurant or in the "veranda"outside.
We
offer breakfast and evening dinner (reservation is required)..
The breakfast is composed of: milk- coffee- thè- Juices-
home made cake and biscuit- bread- toasts- golden rusks- jam and
butter- yogurt- honey made in La Torre- cooked ham and cheese.
The
dinner is composed of: typical Tuscan starters- first plates of
home made pasta or our vegetable soup- second plates of local
meat- vegetables- dessert (home-made cake).
Our
dishes are mainly prepared with fresh season ingredients, for
this reason our menu depends on what earth offers in each season.
We
have also a selection of wines, mainly produced in Tuscany.
